General Office
During lockdown there are limited staff located on site. Please call 9758 5022 if you have any questions and if we are unable to take your call, please contact the school via email: fairhills.hs@education.vic.gov.au
Any visitors who come on site must sign in and scan the QR Code on entry and report to Reception.
DET have made it mandatory from 18 October for staff, contractors, visitors, and volunteers that are required to declare their COVID Vaccination status.
Student Absences
If your child is absent or late due to illness or for any other reason, parents/guardians are able to choose one of the following options to inform the school:
- Mark the absence on Compass
- Send an email to the school:- attendance@fairhillshs.vic.edu.au
- Call 9758 5022 to leave a message on the absence hotline. This is operational 24hrs a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.
Please be aware that during lockdowns, students will only be marked present if they log into Webex sessions on time, use their first name and last name and turn on the camera when instructed. If your child feels they have been incorrectly marked absent, please ask them to email their teacher.
Parent/Carer Compass Login Details
It is important that parents/carers check COMPASS regularly for updates. If you have any questions or have forgotten your login details please email the school – fairhills.hs@education.vic.gov.au
Masks
When we return to onsite learning, please ensure all students 12 years and over (unless there is a medical exemption) comply with the mask law. https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/face-masks
- The school has a limited supply of masks that can be handed out to students.
- Can we ask that students pack an emergency mask in case their mask breaks during the day.
- The General Office will keep a list of students who require a mask.
Uniform Shop
Due to the current restrictions, the Uniform Shop is still closed, however Buxwear are offering a 'Click and Collect' service.
If you require any uniform items, please complete the Fairhills Uniform Online Order Form 2021 with your credit card details and return it to fairhills.hs@education.vic.gov.au
You will be notified when the order has been processed and ready to be picked up at Fairhills Reception.
Exchanges will only be completed if the garment tags are kept on the item. Items will need to be returned with the form - Fairhills Uniform Exchange Form 2021.
Re-enrolment / 2022 Financial Contributions
Re-enrolment packs will be available to families early November. The packs will be posted on Compass where you will be able access all the information.
