Diocesan Touch Trials

On Wednesday 11 March the Diocesan Touch trials were held at Jubilee Park. Mater Dei sent the 15 Years Girls and Boys team to play in a Round Robin competition and the Opens Girls and Boys had the opportunity to attend an individual trial.

The 15 Years Girls had a very successful day winning every game.The results were as follows:

10-0 versus Xavier High 

 7-2 versus Canberra - Goulburn

 6-1 versus Marian Catholic College

 6-0 versus St Francis College

The boys also had a successful day winning most of their games, only going down to Kildare Catholic College and a draw against St Francis Leeton.

Congratulations to the following students who were successful in selection:

Opens - Ashley Reynoldson, Jessica Wendt, Darcie Manning, Phoebe Duncombe, Tristan Wheeler (shadow) and Jett Buttifant (shadow).

Under 15s - Elysia Smith, Chloe Donelan, Ruby Browning, Philomena Grigg, Cody Reynoldson, Harrison Wheeler, Ava Moller (shadow) and Jacob Cain (shadow).

It should be noted that some students were unavailable for selection.
