Catholic Identity and Mission

A very warm welcome to everyone for the beginning of Term 3.  The new Reception children have made a very settled start and are enjoying their new routines.  It is wonderful to see their happy faces around the school.

The parish is celebrating the Sacrament of First Eucharist this weekend with 15 children from the community.  This is an important moment in the faith life of the children, their families and the parish.  This Sacrament completes their initiation into the Catholic Church enabling them to participate fully in the Mass.

Class Masses will resume this term with celebrations being held at Good Shepherd Church on the corner of Fairview Terrace and St Albans Place, Clearview.  The children walk to the church with their teacher and will celebrate Mass before sharing in morning tea with the parishioners after in the church hall. After the celebration the children will walk back to school.

Parents are most welcome to attend Mass and morning tea. All Masses are on Thursday at 10.00 am  Mass will go for approximately 40 minutes.
