From the Principal

Dear Parents/Caregivers

Welcome to Term 3 with a special welcome to our new Reception cohort.  The children were part of our Transition Program in Terms 1 and 2. It is always a pleasure to re-connect with the girls and boys after a break and hear about their holiday adventures. All are energised and ready for a great term ahead.

Live Learn Lead Parent Survey

You are invited to participate in a short (3 to 5 minute) survey about our school’s performance. Similar surveys will be administered to staff and students to enable us to capture a community snapshot. All responses are confidential and will be used for school improvement purposes.

The school values your feedback and will try to respond to the information that they provide. For each statement, you are asked to rate how well you think the school is performing by selecting one of six responses. The responses are numbered 1 to 6. Please respond with respect to your perceptions related to the oldest child enrolled at the school. There are no 'right' or 'wrong' answers. Your opinion is what is wanted.

To get started go to www.NSIPartnerships.com.au and enter the access code provided CODE: SGLLLP

We have limited places for Receptions in Term 1 next year. If you have family or friends who are interested in a spot, please have them contact the Front Office. They can join the Semester 2 Transition Program this term and have the opportunity to settle into school life at St Gabriel's.

Congratulations to our students who are celebrating their First Holy Communion this Saturday. This is a significant step in in their faith journey. Thank you to the staff who have assisted in their preparation and  co-ordination of he ceremony.

Please note that due to maintenance of St Albans Reserve, Sports Day will be held in Term 4, on a date to determined. A couple of events that will be occurring are Father's Day Breakfast on Friday 2 September, and Grandparent's Day Thursday 15 September.
