Swimming Lessons at Aquastar

Over the past fortnight, our Year 2-4 students have been enthusiastically participating in swimming lessons at Aquastar. It has been an absolute joy to witness our students develop their swimming abilities and gain confidence in the water. The last swimming lesson will take place on Friday, June 23rd, with a special focus on Water Safety. We applaud all the students for their enthusiasm and progress throughout these lessons.

Year 6 Girls Footy Team Shines at District Gala Day

On Tuesday, June 20th, our Year 6 Girls Footy team showcased their skills and determination at the Districts Footy Gala Day competition. Many of the team members had never played Footy before, but their dedication and hard work paid off as they displayed remarkable improvements and growing confidence throughout the day. Kingswood Primary School emerged victorious in one of their matches and we couldn't be prouder of the entire team for their outstanding efforts.

Celebrating Sporting Success

I would like to shine light on two Kingswood students who have achieved remarkable success in their respective sports outside of our school.

Harley B, a student in 6M, has made the Victorian Team for Field Hockey as a goalie. His exceptional skills and dedication have earned him a place in the Australian School Sports Championships, scheduled to take place in July/August. We wish Harley all the best in this upcoming competition and we are immensely proud of his accomplishments.

Sawayne F, a student in 5S, recently represented the Dandenong Rangers in the 12.1 age group at the National Junior Classic in Basketball. Sawayne and his teammates demonstrated exceptional teamwork and skill, making it to the Grandfinal where they competed against North Adelaide. Their incredible performance secured them the Silver Medal. Congratulations Sawayne, on this outstanding achievement!
