Dear Kingswood Community,

The Year 5 and 6 students have been working on building a sculpture of their own choosing over the past Term and a half. It has been a long process and during this time the students have built up their skills in construction of a form using recycled materials, a new skill in using modroc (plaster bandages), developing their use of real and simulated texture and thinking about their intention for their audience. 

They have had some challenges along the way and sometimes changed the direction of their art, which is all part of the learning journey.

Well done Year 5 and 6 for your persistence and creativity.
