Premier's Reading Challenge
It's all systems go for now. All students are registered. Log in details have been given out to 3 - 6 students. We will email P - 2 log in details over the next week. For now, keep reading and record the titles of the books you have read.
The Premier's Reading Challenge has officially begun. COHR participates in this every two years.
The Challenge encourages all students across Victoria to read and record their books and strive to reach the designated amount depending on what year level they are in. The PRC goes until September. Prep - 2 students need to read / listen to 30 books and 3 - 6 students need to read 15 books.
Our 3 - 6 students have been encouraged to record their books they have read since the beginning of Term 1 so they will be able to add those books. Our P - 2 students can start to keep records of books they are reading from now on and they can add any books they have read in Term 1 as well. Books that are read in the Library and in class will be added to their accounts as well. For now, just keep reading and writing down the books that have been read.
For Term 2 & Term 3 - Premier's Reading Challenge website / student log in link. Please click on the VPRC login box then add student username and passcode. These are generated by the challenge set up process. 3- 6 Students will have time in Library lessons during Term 2 & 3 to log in and add books.
LIBRARY BAGS - our SPARE ones!
When students forget their Library bags we do have a collection of spares so as students don't miss out on borrowing. We should have about 25 of these but currently we only have 3! Could we please ask you to check students bags or around the home for any of our spare library bags and return these promptly. Thanks
STORYBOX LIBRARY - School Subscription
