All students had a fantastic time during our Catholic Schools' Week celebrations. We spent time colouring cards and messages for the emergency service workers in our local community, as well as some gardening around our school. We finished the week with a little treat...ice-cream and fruit salad as well as a mufti day!
Currently we are waiting to see what the COVID situation will do, as well as waiting on government and CSO advice. We are still hoping to be able to travel to Canberra for our end of year trip. However, if this can't happen, Mrs Meade and Mrs Long will have something else organised for a bit of fun!
Canteen will be starting up again soon. Canteen will still occur on a Friday, and our PT&F is working hard to ensure this will go ahead as many Fridays as possible. Please contact Mrs Clare Lee or Mrs Thompson if any parents are interested in volunteering.
(All parents who volunteer need a current Working with Children Check)
Technology is an important part of our everyday life here at St Joseph's. Last Friday, Will and Chase worked hard with Mr G to set up the final interactive TV stand which will be put to use in staff meetings and for Zoom Conferences.
It would be great if everyone had the correct, full uniform everyday. It is important to set an example and to take pride in our school. If you need any uniform supplies, please visit Mrs Thompson in the front office as there are many options in our Swap Shop as well as new items that are available for purchase as well.
