FOOTY DAY

Thank you everyone who donated to the Have a Ball Foundation.  We have donated sporting balls of all sorts and many pairs of sports shoes.  The donations will put a smile on the faces of many.  

OPAL LITTLE SAINT CUP

On Thursday, the Year 6 girls played off in the finals of the Little Saints Cup at RSEA Park (St. Kilda's old AFL ground).  They played 3 preliminary games for a 2-1 record but enough to sneak into the Grand Final.  They won the grand final against Black Rock Primary School and we now have a magnificent trophy to show the school.

Thank you to all of the families who came down to watch and support.  The girl's also really appreciated Mrs Stutterd's cheering from the sidelines.   I would particularly thank Matt Marshall for taking his time off work to coach the team.  His positive comments motivated and encouraged, whilst a few key moves int eh grand final ensured we were to win on the day.  Thank you Matt! 

THE RUNNING CLUB

Tuesday mornings are set aside for the St Louis running club.  Students need to be there at 8.00 am at the very latest as we head off for a 2 km run around the wetlands behind the school.  The students will run with staff supervision and the activity is open to  families.

KINGSTON DIVISION ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

We are taking 36 athletes to the division athletics event on Friday 7th October - the first week back!  Feel free to get your children trained and prepared over the break so we hit the ground running.
