All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

Dear families,

 

How exciting that we have had such a successful Term, completing many exciting events and holding two camps. It has certainly been a busy term and I trust you are all looking forward to a much deserved holiday. Thank you to all the parents who attended our Learning Conferences and to our wonderful staff. The students were so proud of their work and loved showing you.

 

 Staffing Term 4 

Mrs Lucy Mallia will be on maternity leave as from Week 3 and Mr Nick Byron will be in Yr6 DM Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Ms Jess Anastasi will be returning from long service leave and will be in Y6 Ai on a Friday and covering casual release position on a Wednesday and Thursday. Jess will then be on Maternity leave from week 7.

Mr Packer will be on Long Service Leave for term 4 and Mrs Kerry Monaghan will be teaching music for P-4

 

AFL's 9 Little Saints Cup

Yesterday we had our St Louis girls football team attend the finals of the AFL's 9 Little Saints Cup. It was a fantastic event and the our girls played extremely well and won the grand final. Thank you to Matt Marshall for coaching the girls and congratulations to our Year 6 girls for their  outstanding effort and team work.

 

Footy Day

Our Footy Day on Monday was so much fun and great to see students dressed in their team colours. A very big thank you to Dean Andrew and Michael O'Brien for their hard work and effort in organising the event. Our senior students did a great job at assisting and running the activities, a very big thank you!

Thank you to Lisa Goodes and all the volunteers that came along and helped make our special lunch day successful.

 

Uniform Term 4 

Students can wear either summer or winter uniform until Wednesday 2 November. As from Wednesday 2 November full summer uniform must be worn. School hats MUST be worn from Monday 3 October when term 4 resumes.
