Grade Three Snapshot

Dear Parents,

Hats off to all families and students for the commitment you are showing to keep 'our students', your children' balanced, engaged and continuing to learn.

At this stage of the term we are commencing many new units of work which we believe will spark new engagement and curiosity. At the forefront of our minds when our team is planning are the questions: 'Is it engaging?, 'Is it purposeful?' and 'Does it meet the point of need?'

This week we also welcome a new addition to the Grade 3 Team who will be with us until the end of the term. Tammy Rowed enjoyed her teaching practicum so much at BPS last year she is returning to complete her final placement before graduating as a primary teacher. She will be collaborating remotely with us and getting to know the students through daily interaction. Tammy brings a wealth of experience of working with children in childcare settings and as a nanny, and an innate ability to foster meaningful relationships with both children and families. We know she will add value to our teaching team as she is very enthusiastic and open minded to learn about the unique model of remote teaching.

As we begin another week, please don't hesitate to contact your class teacher if you have concerns about your child. The students' wellbeing is a focus for us all.

Please enjoy this latest edition of our newsletter publication which will provide you with an insight of next week's learning focus for each curriculum area.
