ECU Equity Scholarship

The ECU Equity Scholarships are intended to assist future and current undergraduate students from designated equity groups, with the costs associated with University study.

 

CURTIN SHOOTING STARTS ENABLING SCHOLARSHIP

Value: $2,500 AUD

Closing Date: Friday 25 November

The Shooting Stars Enabling Scholarship encourages and empowers female Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students from Western Australia who are experiencing financial need, to complete the Indigenous Tertiary Enabling Course (ITEC).

 

HARVARD CRIMSON GLOBAL ESSAY COMPETITION

The Harvard Crimson Global Essay Competition provides a platform for young, ambitious high school students to exercise their writing skills in a non-traditional environment.

This competition encourages students to challenge themselves and explore different writing styles to ultimately strengthen their writing skills.

THE SHORT STORY CHALLENGE

The 17th Annual Short Story Challenge is a creative writing competition open to writers around the world. There are four rounds of competition, where writers are placed randomly in groups and are assigned a genre, subject, and character assignment, then given a short amount of time to write a story.

Feedback from the judges is provided for every submission, there are thousands in cash and prizes for the winners, and the writers retain all the rights to the stories they create. Sound like fun? Join the competition!
