WORK EXPERIENCE WITH ICRAR

Experience the working life of ICRAR’s astronomers, engineers and educators with a work experience placement. Our work covers many different areas, all related to astronomy and astrophysics, including computing and engineering.

During a work experience placement students will experience the variety of work ICRAR does and get a taste of what a day in the life of an astronomer/engineer is like.

ICRAR offers a limited number of work experience places for high school students. If you’re interested in spending your work experience placement with ICRAR, you can complete an application form online.

ICRAR is a diverse and welcoming workplace, and we specifically encourage young women and Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander students to consider joining us for our work experience program.
