Big Summer Read

Hobsons Bay Libraries are offering 3 x Prize Packs for three lucky primary school-aged winners of the BIG Summer Read!

Please come to the launch party for the BIG Summer Read, we'd love to see you and your communities there. There will be games, stories and hands-on craft activities. Kids can grab a free book, join an egg and spoon race, make their own tote bag, listen to a story... and sign up for the BIG Summer Read to win big prizes!

News from Emmanuel College

At Emmanuel, we truly believe in students being a part of our College community for life. This last week is a perfect example of this, with some of next year’s Year 7s visiting and our full Orientation Morning happening next week, while last Friday we celebrated with the graduates from the classes of 1972, 1982, 1992, 2002 & 2012 at the annual reunion. We have also farewelled our Year 12s after their final exams, there is certainly plenty going on at the College.  Our 'experience events' and tours for the year have finished, however, if an urgent tour of the College is required, this can be arranged by contacting Jenny Hendricks or Charlie Redman by emailing enrolments@ecmelb.catholic.edu.au

January School Holiday Activity - Artistic Swimming

Golden Fish Synchronised Swimming are a local Artistic Swimming club based in Melbourne’s inner west and servicing inner Melbourne and the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne. We are passionate about our sport and getting young people involved in an activity that is both fun and challenging while promoting health and fitness.

 We will be running a Try Artistic Swimming program in the January 2023 school holidays at Victoria University Aquatic & Fitness Centre, Footscray. All genders aged 7+ who can swim 25 metres confidently in deep water are welcome to join our fun sessions.

Help float the Western Aquatic & Early Years Centre 

Show your support for a state-of-the-art Aquatic and Early Years Centre at Bruce Comben Reserve in Altona Meadows. The proposed centre will include a 25m lap pool; learn to swim, toddler and water therapy pools; gymnasium and program rooms; early years centre and maternal child health service; and cafe.
