Camp NaNoWriMo Winner!

Congratulations to Heather from H8, one of our fabulous TLAs, who wrote an entire novel during the month of July. Heather will receive a certificate and prize pack as a reward for her amazing efforts.

We will run the NaNoWriMo Young Writers' Program during November in the LRC. If you'd like to challenge yourself to write a novel in a month, remember to keep an eye out for updates and sign up in the LRC during October. We have lots of fun during our lunchtime writing sessions and we hold a big celebration lunch when it's over where we give out lots of prizes.

If you love writing, you'll want to join in!

Teen Library Advisors

Our Teen Library Advisors (TLAs) continue to carry out their roles even though we have returned to remote learning. Most recently, they have helped by writing book reviews, signing up to be eBook Mentors, and helping us to choose new books to purchase for the library. We are looking forward to being able to see them in the library again when they can take on even more responsibility in their areas of expertise.

We're also looking forward to giving our new TLAs their badges and congratulating them on their hard work so far this year.

In the meantime, we keep up via regular video meetings and chats on Google Hangouts.
