Dear Students...

A message from the Year 12 Student Leaders

Dear Year 7-10 Students

We understand that your time in remote learning has been challenging at times, and you may have faced many difficulties. Despite this, we hope that you have been well and productive with the several weeks spent off campus. During our short return to school in Term Three, your presence was dearly missed by the senior students and staff, and it is our sincere wish that everything will be alright with time, and we will all be able to see each other once again.

There is no hiding the fact that these are turbulent times. As you may be aware, there has been a spike in cases across Victoria, hence why it is essential that we all act responsibly and play our part to ensure our own safety, and those around us.

The Student Leaders have identified a focus that we believe the entire school can become involved in. For the remainder of the year, our focus revolves around the notion of multiculturalism and inclusion. As a collective, we aim to demonstrate the importance of diversity and individuality across the school community, in the hope of spreading awareness in regards to the discrimination and injustice that is occurring around the world. Upon your return, we plan to celebrate a diverse range of people who have significantly impacted the nation, leaving a mark on Australian culture.

During Term Three, each House Leadership Team, along with Student Leaders and the Student Representative Council members, have created challenges and activities to support and motivate you in your time stuck at home.

We urge you to make the most of these opportunities and make remote learning into a fun experience.

It is essential that you continue to engage with your fellow peers, teachers and maintain your outstanding attendance. We also encourage you to stay active, keep hydrated, implement a routine into your home schooling and most importantly, spend this time with your family.

We thank you for your resilience and continued dedication in your online learning, and we cannot wait to see your smiling faces on school grounds.

Kind Regards,

Year 12 Student Leaders
