Our Children
At GEPS, we as a community and school, acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this land on which we live and learn. On this land the Dharug People have performed age-old ceremonies of storytelling, music, dance and celebration.
We acknowledge and pay respect to the Elders past and present, and emerging, for they hold the memories, traditions and hopes of Aboriginal Australians.
As we learn to Always Be Our Best, we also commit to looking after each other and this land. We must always remember that under the concrete and asphalt this Land is, was and always will be traditional Aboriginal Land.
