Years 5/6

The 5/6 classroom was invaded by aliens this week. They came from Planet Simile.

Students wrote their own simile descriptions for the aliens that landed in our room.

A simile is a phrase that compares one thing to another using like or as. Holly Lewis

A body as fat as a tree

Arms as thin as paper

Legs as pointy as icicles

A head as small as a golf ball

Ears as square as boxes

Eyes as green as grass

Hair as grey as tin

Feet as blue as the sea

By Fletcher Price

A body as muscly as Superman

A head as small as a pea

Eyes as red as beetroot

A nose as pointy as a carrot

Teeth as cracked as the drought Earth

Skin as poisonous as a mushroom

Fingers as short as a sharpened pencil

Feet as blobby as glue
