Leadership Induction Ceremony

On Thursday 12 November, we held the annual Student Leadership Induction Ceremony. Usually this event occurs in the school hall, with all students in attendance with many members of our broader community. This year, however, we celebrated our students in the virtual world, watching a pre-recorded ceremony during home group time. And so, the leadership councils have now been officially inaugurated. We extend our warm congratulations to them for their election and look forward to witnessing their incredible work.

Furthermore, it must be noted that nothing better epitomizes the notion of leadership through service than the Year 11 Hospitality students included in the images below. They worked tirelessly in preparation for Thursday, and then arrived as early as 6:30 am to work in the kitchen to make an incredible production line of individually packaged, COVID-safe catering options for the council members. Thanks are extended to Ms MacKenzie, Mr Harper and their classes for their herculean efforts to make our student leaders feel valued.
