Lake Dewar Excursion

Starting the year in style

Yesterday I was lucky enough to join the Year 5/6 classes and teachers on their start of year adventure excursion to Lake Dewar Lodge.

The idea behind having an excursion so early in the year is to get to know each other in different ways, build relationships, trust and team spirit amongst our students and to start the discussions and expectations around our student leaders.

Whilst the weather was cool and grey, we were lucky that the rain held off and the students had a wonderful time completing activities like rafting, go-cating, archery, 'adventure tunnels' and many more.

A huge thank you to Nicole Chapman, one of our amazing Year 5/6 parents for taking these great photos.
