Last week from Monday 14th November – Thursday 17th November the year fives and sixes went on camp to Canberra. They had a very interesting and fun time enjoying all the activities provided by the teachers and helpers.
We asked everyone who went on camp what their highlights were,
5/6H said: The AIS because sport is fun and enjoyable, and all the activities were different to what they’ve done. The parliament because of the roleplay, Georgie like being the Prime minister and Tamika liked being the Clark.
The year fives in Mr Smith’s class enjoyed AIS, because the basketball game was fun and different. The National Museum because I got to learn about the Tasmanian Tiger. The food because waffles was served.
This is what 5/6S liked: Most of this class liked going to Questacon because it taught you about the weather and natural disasters. It was very interesting and cool. It was fun watching people going down the vertical slide and faced their fears. They also enjoyed free time at the end of the day because they got a break.
In conclusion the Canberra camp was a success, and everyone enjoyed their time.
