 the Principal

This will be our final newsletter for the year and on behalf of all of the staff at KHS I would like to thank you, the parents and guardians of our KHS community, for your support throughout 2022. I am a very proud Principal KHS and I look forward to working with you all again in 2023 as we make what is a great school even greater.

Last week we acknowledged those students who have received awards for their efforts this year at our annual presentation day. Congratulations to all of our award winners.

In this forum however I would like to acknowledge the work all our students have done in 2022. Please read through your child’s report. Have a genuine conversation about what your child’s teachers have written. Celebrate their successes and ask them what are their goals are going to be in the classroom in 2023? As I constantly say to the students – my mantra- you will get out of school what you put into it. KHS will provide your child with great experiences both in and out of the classroom. Please encourage your child to take up every opportunity available to them.

I wish everyone in the KHS community a happy and safe Christmas.
