Zone Volleyball Trials

KHS participated in the Zone Volleyball Trials at Wauchope Stadium and both the Opens boys and Open girls team excelled in their skill and ability to compete and play volleyball. After understanding some unknown rules and regulations, the boys defeated Melville High School to compete against Wauchope High School in the final. The boys won the first set, but unfortunately, lost the second and third sets by a narrow margin. The Wauchope coach was very impressed with our boys and said that it was one of the most thrilling and exciting games he has witnessed. Congratulations to Noah Mor, Joshua Murray, and Lachlan Mealing who were successfully selected to join the Zone Volleyball Team to play in Ballina next year. 

Congratulations to Alice McNee, Ebony Haywood, and Maeve Patten who were selected for the Possible and Probable teams but were unfortunately unsuccessful to be selected for the Zone team. 

It was a great day and all of KHS is very proud of the achievements of the students at this event.
