New Website and App Update

The new OLA website is now live. It is a modern design that offers families easy to use navigation with helpful quick links. Please visit www.ola.wa.edu.au to have a look!

The app is also ready to be downloaded. Visit your relevant app store and download a copy of the Connected App, select Our Lady's Assumption School and enter the unique code which is located at the front desk in the office and will be emailed out on Monday via the Weekly Updates. Due to security reasons, we will not publish the unique code via the newsletter.

Spelling Mastery

With Parent - Teacher Interviews commencing next week, for two weeks, it has been decided that the Spelling Mastery program will not commence until Term 2. Current classroom spelling programs and activities will continue until the end of term. We look forward to starting this new initaitve next term.

Acting Principalship

Velma Erskine has been appointed as Acting Principal at St Mary's in Northampton (Geraldton), for Term 2. Congratulations Velma, and we look forward to your return to OLA in Term 3.

Grandparents' Morning Tea and Open Morning

Next Friday, 5 April, we invite all grandparents to join us for our annual Grandparents' Morning Tea and Open Morning. Grandparents are invited to tour the school and visit their grandchildren's classrooms from 9.00am. Morning tea will then follow at 10.00am in the Fr. O'Mara Centre. We hope families can join us!

Tuesday 9 April - PPG, 5G and 6G

Wednesday 10 April - 6M

Thursday 11 April - 2G

All meetings will be held in the Fr. O'Mara Centre on the days listed above. If you are meeting your child's class teacher on a different day, then your child's teacher will advise you where the meeting will take place.

The Uniform 'Fire Sale' will commence this Friday, with all current uniform items to be sold at half price or better. FYI - See below:
