Premier's Reading Challenge 2021

  • 273 LPS students have now completed the Premier’s Reading Challenge for 2021!
  • All K-2 students have completed the Challenge!
Students still have time to add the books they have read into their Premier's Reading Challenge book lists.   All entries need to be entered by 1 September 2021, so that our PRC Coordinator can validate the records.  Thank you to the teachers and parents who are helping their children add to their reading list during home learning.

Students on all Challenge levels are able to read 10 choice books (an increase from five). To complete the Challenge students must read 10 PRC books at their challenge level (e.g. 3-4 or 5-6) and 10 personal choice books.  Students can access the list of books they have borrowed this year in Oliver and add these books to their reading list.  Students in 3-6 have access to the EPIC online library during school hours.  Collections have been setup in this library for PRC 3-4 and PRC 5-6.  Remember only 3 books for a series can count as PRC texts, if you’ve read others you can add them as personal choice books.

If any students needs assistance they can contact their teacher or Mrs Matthews – Julie.a.matthews@det.nsw.edu.au.
