Winter Appeal:  Supporting St Vincent de Paul and Jesuit Refugee Services

Thanks to the efforts of our Year 9 volunteers our Winter Appeal for 2020 has kicked off. As mentioned in previous issues of Woodchatta, this year St Pius X are supporting not only St Vincent de Paul with near new blankets and warm clothing, but we are also collect non-perishables for the Jesuit Refugee Service.

Our collections will continue through to Thursday of Week 9 when all items donated will be delivered. Thank you to all who have already contributed, it would be a great way to live out our Catholic faith by donating items before Week 9. A list below outlines items of most need. Be sure to keep an eye out for photos of our delivery of goods.

We are in need of the following items:

Chapel Masses

After a long period of physical distancing, which meant that places of worship were closed, we are pleased to advise that our College Chapel Masses will recommence on Tuesday 23 June.

Mr Kovacic's Year 9 Religion class will host the Mass with all College staff and students welcome. Unfortunately, at this time, due to the requirements placed on us with Covid-19, we are unable to accept any visitors to our Chapel Masses.  A notice will go out through Woodchatta advising when this can change.
