Mother’s Day Liturgy

Please join us for our Mother’s Day liturgy on Friday 5th May, at 9am on the school oval, when we celebrate motherhood and the roles of special women in our families. Mother’s Day is an opportunity for us as children and as a community to thank our Mum’s and all special women in our lives and to show them how grateful we are for all that they do! It is also a time to reflect and to honour Mary, Jesus’ mother, reminding us of our own mother who loves and guides us always.

Dates of upcoming events:

  • Mother's Day Morning Breakfast: Friday 5th May 7:30am
  • Mother’s Day Liturgy: Friday 5th May, 9am on the school oval
  • Mother's Day Stall: Wednesday 10th May

Intergenerational Project

This term, in partnership with the Hampton-Highett Community Centre,  our Year Six Social Justice Leaders and Friendship Captains will participate in a St Mary's & Highett Neighbourhood House Intergenerational Program.

You may have seen the ABC shows over the past couple of years which have highlighted the benefits intergenerational programs bring to both children and adults. This six-week project will run each Wednesday, beginning on the 17th of May and will focus on fun, engaging activities that can be enjoyed by both generations. It is hoped that both adults and students will enjoy sharing knowledge, fostering meaningful engagement and connections.
