School Council Meeting Report – October 2021
COVID Safety at Croydon Hills - Parent Q&A session
Thanks to everyone who attended the Q&A session last night and for asking questions about COVID Safety topics and practices as more students begin their return to onsite learning this week. We also discussed this topic at our School Council meeting, as we have routinely done these past 18 months, and continue to thank the School Staff for prioritising the safety of all members that move within and around school grounds.
Parent Payment Arrangements 2022
After review and discussion by the Finance Sub Committee, School Council endorsed the 2022 Parent Payment Arrangements. These arrangements will be shared in more detail with the School Community in the coming weeks. Another Parent Q&A session may be held to address any questions or queries from families.
Congratulations to all Parents/Carers/Guardians!!
The Minister for Education, James Merlino announced last week at the Parents Victoria Annual Conference that the recipient of the Joan Kirner Parent Participation Award for 2021 goes to ALL Parents, Carers and Guardians of Government School children for their ongoing support of and assistance with children’s remote learning and wellbeing throughout the past 12 months. You may recall that Nikky Edwards won this award in 2020 and its nice of her to share her trophy with all of us in 2021 😊. WELL DONE TO EVERYONE for enduring another long stint of remote learning and we hope that you and your families can enjoy some normality in the coming weeks as our community and school begins to open up again.
