Year 5 Extension Program
Fremantle College - Curiosity Club Applications are open!
Fremantle College’s Curiosity Club is an after school program which offers hands-on extension opportunities for students in Year 5. Year 5 students are able to apply to the Curiosity Club – Specialist ICT or Curiosity Club – Specialist Marine Science.
Our Curiosity Club will run for three sessions after school and take place in Terms 3 and 4. When applying, students are able to select which term they wish to attend and can apply for both programs. Specialist teaching staff facilitate all sessions.
There is no cost associated with applying or attending the Fremantle College Curiosity Club.

Fremantle College will be offering some First Round Offers in December 2023 for the Year 7 2025 Intake into the Specialist ICT and Specialist Marine Studies programs.

First Steps Playgroup
We are excited to let you know about a new support we are offering families in your local community. Our NEW First Steps Playgroup is a telethon funded program offering a place for families to come when their child is experiencing:
- Delay in communication
- Difficulty playing with their peers
- Interest un a limited range of toys and activities
- Delayed or unusual play skills
Our playgroups offer the opportunity for families to talk to our experienced therapist and play-leaders, that can offer coaching, knowledge of supports within the community and individualised next steps.
This program is free for any family with a child under 6 years old.
