Building Careers Geelong 

Registrations are now open for the Building Careers Geelong Site Tour for year 11 & 12 students. 

The Site Tour (formerly known as the Master Builders Orientation Day) will run on Thursday,12 May 2022.

The tour is an incredible opportunity for students interested in a future career in the building and construction industry. Students will visit real construction sites, both domestic and commercial, across Geelong. It’s a chance for students to meet like-minded apprentices and network with some of our most passionate industry professionals. 

Please note: there will be an opportunity for year 9 & 10 students later in the year.

Access for Success Program 

Access for Success is a 8-week peer mentoring program for select Year 11 students attending a DEAP Partnership School, who want to learn from current university students The Deakin Engagement and Access Program (DEAP) aligns with the Victorian Schools’ Careers Curriculum (VSCC) to support secondary school students in their decision making about their futures. The new Year 11 Access for Success rogram is designed to maximise your opportunties to connect with and learn from current university students. The program consists of eight consecutive weekly mentoring sessions. Each session is held online and runs for a duration of 60 minutes.
