Children's Liturgy News

Welcome to Children’s Liturgy for 2019. Our program is in full swing for the year and is held at 9.30 am Sunday Mass, during the school term. It is held in the Parish Centre and we invite you to come along just before Mass begins and join in this special time.

Christmas Eve Mass 2018 ~ Special Thanks

Thank you to the wonderful children from Our Lady’s Assumption School who participated beautifully in our Mass. Special thanks to:

Their commitment to rehearsals and the Mass is greatly appreciated. Thank you to their parents and families for supporting them. 

Special thanks to Tiana who performed an unaccompanied, solo rendition of Silent Night during the Nativity depiction. We have had lots of feedback from Parishioners who found it a moving and spiritual experience. It was simply beautiful. 

Thanks to Rebecca Smith from our school, for her support and commitment to the Children’s Liturgy Program.

March, the Month of St Joseph

Throughout most of the rest of the Catholic world (with the exception of Ireland), the month of March is associated with St. Joseph, the husband of the Virgin Mary and the foster father of Jesus Christ. St. Joseph's feast day falls two days later on 19 March.
