Student Wellbeing

 Student Representative Council

The SRC represents the views and needs of students effectively and with a sense of fun. The members are chosen by and act on behalf of their fellow students. This year we put in place a far more democratic process where students made speeches to their classmates and those wishing to nominate themselves were voted for by the rest of the class.

Last year we established a formal reporting of SRC views to the School Council, a more frequent newsletter contribution and the appointment of a SRC secretary. In 2019 we will be developing more effective Action Teams that will enable our students to have a greater “Voice” within the school and enable them to make significant contributions and developments.

Our School Captains and Vice Captains are automatically on the SRC and for the first time, Upper Primary students are also on the SRC.

The 2019 Student Representative Council members have been chosen and badges will be presented over the next week.
