Sports Update

Over the Australia Day weekend the school had a group of students/ex students compete for their home athletics clubs in the Athletics Victoria Victorian Country Track & Field Championships held in Geelong at John Landy Field.

Below are the amazing results achieved from our current and past students with lots of medals and top 5 results recorded:

Aria Violini (Year 7)

• Gold – U/14 Girls 1500m, 5:04.00
• Gold – U/14 Girls 3000m, 10:51.81

Jace Murray (Year 11)

• 4th – U/18 Boys Discus, 37.31m
• 5th – U/18 Boys Javelin, 38.03m

Scott Peart (Year 11)

• Gold – U/18 Boys 3000m Walk, 13:35.36
• Gold – U/20 Boys 5000m Walk, 23:16.22

Ashlee Gleeson (Year 11)

• 4th – U/18 Girls Javelin, 22.69m
• 4th – U/18 Girls Shot Out, 10.43m

Jemma Peart (Class of 2019)

• Bronze – Open Womens 5000m Walk, 27:38.74
