HAPE

Welcome back to the new school year!

Physical Education is a compulsory subject for students in Years 7 – 9. Students in Years 7 and 8 will participate in 4 periods of activity each week and 2 periods for Year 9 students.

Students are required to change into their full school Physical Education (PE) uniform at the beginning of every lesson. Students are not permitted to wear their PE uniform to school. Students can wear their full school PE uniform home if they have class periods 5 & 6.

Below is a list of items from the Ballarat High School PE uniform:

  • Ruby top- multi coloured rugby top in school colours
  • Ballart High School tracksuit pants
  • Navy blue shorts with school logo
  • Pale blue short sleeve shirt with school logo
  • White socks OR Ballarat High School Sports Socks

Please note long skins are not permitted.

It is expected that all students bring their PE uniform to every lesson. If students are unable to participate (due to injury or illness) a signed note is to be given to their teacher at the start of the lesson.

The focus of Physical Education at Ballarat High School is for students to participate with their best effort, develop their physical skills and improve their understanding of the health benefits (physical, social and mental) of participating in regular physical activity.
