Monday the 8th of February saw Baimbridge College students travel to the Hamilton Outdoor Pool for the annual swimming sports. The students braved the cold weather and jumped in the pool to earn points for their house with participation numbers proving to be vital to the success of the houses. Many students went outside their comfort zones to earn points for their house which was a pleasure to see.
Overall Fraser were too dominant once again scoring a total of 730 points in 1st place, Bradman in 2nd on 467 points, Cuthbert in 3rd on 347 points and Laver in 4th on 340 points.
Special mention to Todd Dymke who broke the following records.

On Friday the 19th 45 students travelled to Portland to participate in the GD Swimming Sports. After the bus trip down, they were greeted by some warm weather and some quality competition ready battle it out for their respective schools. All students gave every race their best effort and going into the relays Baimbridge was sitting in 5th place. However, having strong relay teams in almost every age group allowed Baimbridge to push home strong and move into 3rd place on 343 points. Overall, the students performed very well and a special mention goes to Todd Dymke, Latisha Gay and Dominic Hoggard for winning age group champion honors.

1 – The Hamilton and Alexandra College (593 points)
2 – Monivae College (524 points)
3 – Baimbridge College (343 points)
