Welcome Back to a New School Year!

Dear Parents, Carers, and Community Members,

I hope this message finds you all well and rejuvenated after the summer break. As we gather to embark on another exciting academic year at Woodland Road, I would like to extend a warm welcome back to our returning families and a heartfelt greeting to those who are new to our school community.

This year, we are thrilled to welcome Mrs Raco who brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our school. Mrs Williams has also rejoined us for two days per week. Together, we are committed to providing a nurturing and inspiring environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our dedicated teachers have been busy preparing engaging lessons and activities that align with the NSW curriculum. We are excited to continue fostering a love of learning and encouraging our students to explore their interests and talents. This year, we will focus on literacy and numeracy with a strong lens on STEM.

As we move forward, communication between home and school is more important than ever. I encourage you to stay connected through our newsletters, school website, and social media channels and especially Dojo. Your involvement in our school community plays a vital role in your child’s education, and we welcome your support and input.

We have several upcoming events to look forward to, including Meet the Teacher, Easter Parade, Harmony Day and the Cross Country. These occasions are a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow families and staff, and I hope to see many of you there.

Let’s work together to make this school year a successful and memorable one for our students. Thank you for your continued support, and here’s to a fantastic year ahead!

Warm regards,

Chad Harris
