On our first day, we had our photos taken, played a lot and made many new friends.
We have learnt about different places in our school, learnt the 3 school rules, worked through new class routines, where to play and go at lunch and recess, how to put away and be responsible for our belongings and met lots of adults who work at school.
There is so much more to learn and experience every day!

Stage 1
1/2B
1/2B are all ready in the swing of 2025!
So far, we have been looking carefully at each component of a sentence and writing sentences that include adjectives and interesting verbs, using our mathematician superpowers to count large collections of objects accurately, looking at the past and using time based vocabulary and looking at hard and software of computers and identifying the difference. We love reading picture books by authors such as Aaron Blabey, Andy Lee and Eric Litwin. I am incredibly proud of the effort and commitment to learning displayed by each class member.

Here's what's been happening in 1/2G!
We are thrilled to share that 1/2G has had an excellent start to the term! Our classroom is buzzing with enthusiasm and a love for learning, and we are excited about the year ahead.
In English, we have been focusing on key language concepts such as adjectives, verbs, nouns and prepositions. Our dedicated spelling practice is helping us enhance our understanding of letter sounds, and we are making great strides in our reading as we work towards our individual goals.
In Maths, students have been actively sorting shapes and creating various patterns. Additionally, we are developing our problem-solving skills and number sense, which are essential for our growth.
In PDHPE, our lessons focus on making safe choices, and we have been enjoying our participation in sports at SISA, where teamwork and physical activity are a highlight.
Our Science curriculum includes an exciting exploration of digital hardware and software, allowing students to engage with technology in meaningful ways. In History, we delve into the concepts of past, present, and future, encouraging students to connect with their own experiences and understand the world around them.
1/2G is a supportive and vibrant community. Together, we continue to nurture our curiosity and passion for learning!

What’s been happening in 1/2M…
1/2M have made the most magnificent start to 2025! Each day, we bring our smiling faces and curious minds to the classroom.
Already, we have learned how to write a sentence with lots of detail, how to count large collections of objects by making smaller groups, the difference between hardware and software, and the months in each season. We especially love being mini meteorologists every morning, assessing the weather and temperature of the day.
We are looking forward to a magical year full of learning and wonderful experiences!
