St Simon Footy Colours Day

Last Friday many students don their team's colours representing their favourite footy team during Footy Colours Day. Many dressed up on the morning Google Meets with their teachers and shared their passion for their favourite footy or sporting clubs.

Throughout the day, it was great to receive so many votes from students and staff on who will win the 2021 AFL season. The results from last friday are below-

Melbourne Demons - 41%

Western Bulldogs - 26%

Geelong Cats - 25%

Port Adelaide Power - 8%

Considering the results from the weekend gone past, who will win : Melbourne or the Bulldogs?

St Simon Swimming @ Home Resource

St Simon the Apostle is proud to provide parents and students from Prep to Year 4 the Swimming @ Home resource. We understand it is hard to practise swimming techniques without a pool available. Therefore, this virtual program will provide students a way to practise fundamental water skills in the comforts of your home. We invite all parents to encourage their child/ren to partake in the lessons. Once your child has completed a lesson, the form on the website can be completed and certificates will be issued stating the courses completed by your child/ren. Good luck and give it your very best!

The swimming program for the Prep to Year 2 is only postponed until next term with new dates being organised with Paul Sadler Swimland, Rowville. The year 3 and 4 program is still going ahead for the first and second week of Term 4 at this moment. More information will be provided shortly through Operoo regarding the school swimming program.

The Victorian Water Safety Certificate practical sessions for our Year 6 students are currently in the process of being rebooked for next term with Paul Sadler.
