CFA Fire Safe Champions - Next Week

The CFA are running “Fire Safe Champions” sessions for our school in March. The sessions include some of our key home fire safety messages delivered in a child-friendly and interactive way.  Topics covered include; common home fire risks and how to prevent them, what to do if your clothes catch on fire, what to do if there is a fire in the home, smoke alarms, escape plans.  

• Monday 20th March 11am Toolamba Primary Foundation Students
• Monday 20th March 2pm Toolamba Primary Grade 1 & 2 Students
• Wednesday 22nd March 11am Toolamba Primary Grades 3 & 4 Students
• Wednesday 22nd March 2pm Toolamba Primary Grades 5 & 6 Students

Location:  Mooroopna Recreation Reserve – John Gray Oval (enter via McLennan Street).  The activity will be conducted in a large, air-conditioned marquee, so that we are able to go ahead regardless of the weather on the day.  

Cost: Nil. The CFA are funding the buses for this session.

Children can not attend without a signed permission form. Contact the school if you need one.
