STATE REPRESENTATIVES

HITTING HOME RUNS

Congratulations to Patrick Hackett (Year 11 O'Reilly), Lachlan Cooper (Year 11 Thu Duc), Lucas Nelson (Year 10 Trinity), Nathan Taylor (Year 10 Hannan) and  Josh Molen (Year 11 Hannan), who recently returned from representing their WA Baseball Club, the Carine Cats, at the Australian Senior League Baseball Championships.

Our five students were part of the first team to represent the Carine Cats Charter interstate and did the club (and WA) proud - missing out on representing Australia at the Senior League Baseball World Series in the U.S. to both Grand Finalists in the Pool rounds by just two runs. The Cats team were just one of two baseball clubs from WA at the Championships.

Congratulations and well done!

ADAM VIQUEZ (YEAR 7) GOES STRENGTH-TO-STRENGTH

Congratulations to Adam Viquez (Year 7 Trinity) who returned from representing WA at the 2022 Australian Gymnastics Championships on the Gold Coast, QLD yesterday. Adam competed in the Level 7 Under 13 Mens Artistic Gymnastics category in a team and as an individual.

Adam's best ranking was placing 6th on Rings in the Apparatus Finals. He has been doing gymnastics since he was three and said, "I like the challenge it provides and pushing myself to learn new skills."

Nikita Burton (Class of 2020) also represented WA at the Championships and won a Silver medal in the AeroDance Senior Trio event.

Well done, Adam and Nikita!
