End of Term

by Helen Freeman, Principal

Thank You

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole school community for their mammoth effort again this term, it has been truly amazing. It has been wonderful to see the numerous emails from families acknowledging the work of the staff and the positive impact on the children’s resilience and learning.

I know that we are all ready to come back together again next term.

  • All students will be remote learning in the first week of Term 4 – Monday 5th to Friday 9th October.
  • Wednesday 7th October is a Curriculum Day and students will not be provided with  learning on this day.
  • Years Foundation to 2 students return to on-site learning on Monday 12th October.
  • Years 3 to 6 students will remain in remote learning until further notice.

We will be bringing students back in a similar process to the Term 2 return.  Parents will not be permitted to enter the building in Term 4 to drop off or pick up their children.  All children will have their temperature checked at their designated drop off point from 8.45 am.

We have been notified that there will be no excursions, camps or swimming programs for the remainder of this year.

Please continue to keep an eye on Compass for updates during the school holidays.

I hope you can manage a break over the next two weeks. Minimise the screen time and maximise the outdoors. Enjoy the Spring weather with family and continue to find the positives.

Stay Safe

Helen

Thank you to all who have contributed to Spoonville, it has certainly grown over the last few weeks!
