Welcome to Mentone Girls’ Secondary College. 

At Mentone Girls’ we provide a well-rounded education in an emotional, social and academic capacity. One of the great assets of our school is the ability to provide a community where students are respected and valued.

The MGSC school values drive what we do as it provides a direction and purpose to our decision-making. Our students are engaged life-long learners and leaders. 

Not all learning takes place in the classroom and our programs seeks to have a holistic approach to students growing and developing from Year 7 to Year 12. 

This curriculum guide is designed to give an overview of the programs and subjects, which incorporates the following:

• Core year 10 studies 
• Elective studies 
• VCE accelerations studies - a Unit 1 or 2
• VET
