WELLBEING

Biggest Morning Tea

This year we will be hosting our 4th Biggest Morning Tea at St Agnes’. This year it is an extra special celebration for the Year 6 students as our friend George Billington would’ve been in Year 6. George was in Prep and Year 1 with us, but unfortunately he passed away from Cancer in the middle of Year 1. He was a funny and kind friend who loved the colour yellow and monkeys. We will not only be celebrating George, but other family members close to us that have battled with Cancer.

We will be hosting the Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 27th May at 10.30-11am on the Tennis Courts. We invite all families to come and have recess with us. Please bring a gold coin donation to share your recess with us. Or you can go onto our school fundraising page and donate directly there. https://www.biggestmorningtea.com.au/fundraisers/Stagneshighett/vic

Over the next 2 weeks we will be selling Yellow ribbons and arm bands in the classroom and office for 50c. There will also be very special raffle prizes drawn on the morning consisting of vouchers from Ferguson Plairre, Bakers Delight, Little E, nails & hair. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each and can be purchased from the front office. All money raised will go directly to the Cancer Council.

Students are invited to bring a gold coin donation on Thursday 27th May and come to school wearing Yellow accessories. Remember to pack something yummy in your lunch box that day too.

Thanks
