FROM THE PRINCIPAL
We have had a smooth start to Term 4, with students returning happy and ready to learn.
Over the past week, most teachers have started thinking about their class end of year concert item. We will, once again, be returning to the shire hall for our end of year Concert and Presentation Night. We are excited to be doing this after 2 years off (due to COVID).
New information regarding COVIDSafe measures in schools will be sent out this week. There are a number of changes to previous measures. Please keep an eye out on XUNO for this information.
Term 4 is usually the term where the morning as a little chilly, and by lunch time it is warm, therefore, please make sure your children's jumpers are clearly labelled. Already, our lost property bin has a large number of unnamed school jumpers in it.
From this term, parents will be able to make payments for excursions and camps via XUNO. All permission forms will now be sent out via XUNO. Please contact the school if you require a hard copy of any forms.
Parents of Year 3 and 4 students, a final Cave Hill Creek Camp payment notification was sent out today via XUNO. Please arrange final payment no later than Thursday 27th October. Additionally, please make sure all medical forms are completed by this same date.
At last week's School Council meeting, the parent representative body approved the first of 2 Curriculum Days for this term. Friday December 2nd will be a student free day, with teachers attending school to work on future planning, 2023 initiative and teaching & learning professional development. The final curriculum day will be communicated with parents ASAP.
