Integrated Studies - Term 4

In 5/6 this term, students will be learning about Economics and Business. We will be exploring ways in which individuals, families, the community, workers, businesses and governments make decisions in relation to the allocation of resources. Looking at the difference between 'needs and wants' and explain why we make these choices. Students have already learnt about "Fads" and how we get influenced on buying the "it item" (marbles, fidget spinners, yoyos). We hope to explore this in depth over the term and conclude with a class project.  

5/6 Afterschool Netball

Congratulations to our After School Netball team, who last term played off in a grand final against Haddon. The achievement of making the grand final was extraordinary in itself but we were not surprised due to all the girls hard work and dedication. Unfortunately, the girls went down on the night, but they did the school proud. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported, it was fantastic to see and all the girls appreciated it.
