Dance Camp Success

Cowra High hosted the Western Region Dance Camp from Monday May 21 to Wednesday May 23.  Eighty students coming from the following areas:  Bathurst, Blayney, Canowindra, Cobar, Cowra, Orange, Nyngan and Yeoval converged on Cowra.  Over the three days these students worked with Travis Khan, Alice Goodwin, and Hideboo and they created works in the styles of Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Hip Hop.  On Wednesday afternoon the students performed for family and friends, the concert was amazing!!  A testament to their hard work and talent.   Mrs Prue Williams and Ms Emily Goodwin are to be thanked for their wonderful work.  The camp coordinator, Mrs Alison Buckley spent many months organising and liaising with the artists and schools and it would not have been possible without her.  Thank you to all involved.  We hope to see you all again next year.
