School Communications

It seems so long ago that the members of the 2013 ‘Communications  Committee’ a sub-committee of school council changed the way in which we were able to deliver information to our community in a timely manner.

Over the course of that year we were able to update our Website, move from printing weekly newsletters and accessed an app called Tiqbiz that allowed us to provide instant information to the community.  This was a slow and deliberate process, monitored for uptake and any concerns that you had along the way.

The organisation that developed our website and the Tiqbiz app eventually sold their business and we were then working with another organisation who then called it Flexibuzz. This was a relatively smooth transition that Yvonne in our office managed carefully.

The Flexibuzz  app. has now become ‘Flexischools’ a transition that we were not informed of and one we now know uses advertising of which we have not agreed to.

We will once again research what applications are available that best meets our needs.  We would then remotely provide the opportunity for members of our 2020 ‘Communications subcommittee’ to provide input prior to a decision being finalised.
