Principal's Report
Term 2
Last week from Wednesday to Friday our Year 7 and Year 8 students went on outdoor adventure camps. Our Year 7’s headed off to Campaspe Downs, near Kyneton, and our Year 8’s to Trafalgar, in Gippsland. The students took on the challenges with enthusiasm and developed friendships with their peers. From all reports, the students demonstrated independent skills and Concord School was the ‘best behaved’ school at the camps.
Next week our first Student Leadership camp will be held. We look forward to these students, from across various year levels, developing skills that will assist them at school as leaders.
School Building Works
The school building works are now progressing well. The slab will be laid in coming weeks and then the walls, that are being constructed offsite, will be lifted into place. The following images show what the building will look like on completion at the end of the year.
Donation of a Happy Drum
Thank you very much to Shivani, from Upper Primary, and her family for donating a Happy Drum to our school. This beautiful drum sounds similar to a xylophone and makes sounds of different pitches. It has been passed on to our music department for our students to enjoy.

Wearing of School Uniform
This is a reminder that it is compulsory for all students to wear the full school uniform each day and that the school uniform policy is strictly enforced. As the weather is becoming cooler, please check to ensure that you have the correct uniform to keep your child warm.
Our Student Representative Council requested that a school beanie be made available. I’m pleased to advise that a beanie is now part of our school uniform. These are available for purchase for $25.
Please contact Melanie Jackson in the office at the Bundoora Campus on 94673972 regarding purchases of uniform. Further information, including policies and price lists, can be found through the school website at School Uniform - Concord School
