Grade 5DC Lockdown Recount

Hello! My name is Rebekah Davey, 5DC’s class journalist. I’m going to be telling you how some of my classmates felt about Heatherton at Home and more.   

First of all, here is what the majority of people said:  

‘You could get more sleeping time. I miss my PJs!’ 

‘I loved getting hot lunches.’  

‘I missed my friends.’  

‘It was hard to work in a non-working environment.’  

‘It’s pretty boring not being able to see my family and friends in person.’ 

‘It was fun zooming my friends!’   

This is mainly how your kids feel, parents, and maybe also you!       

Sure, some of the home learning was bad, but there were some good sides to it too! For example, that we could be grateful we even have the technology. Because without it, how would we finish our work? Also, even though we were in lockdown, at least we got to spend quality time with our family! 

By the way, if lockdown ever comes back, pray, ask Jesus to help you with whatever is going on in your life, and also talk to your family.
