Interschool Cross Country

On Friday 31st May, students from our school took part in the annual Divisional cross country championships. The event was held at Princess Park at McGuire was represented by a strong team.

I’d like to congratulate all the students who competed. It was great to see such pride in performance demonstrated by our students, with many terrific results being recorded. A special mention to Jonathan Safari for winning the boys 17-20 category, narrowly pipping his younger brother Josh Safari for the title.  Olive McKenzie was also a notable finisher, claiming third place in the girls 15 year section.

A strong team of 22 students have qualified for the Hume Region championships to be held at Winton Raceway on Wednesday 19th June. Students who have qualified should now have received their permission and information forms. Parents wishing to attend Winton for the Hume event are welcome to do so, however due to space on the bus we ask that you make your own way to the event.
